This is the website of the Virginia LGBTIQ History Consortium. Founded in 2017, we are statewide coalition of individuals and organizations working on local and regional queer historical research, interpretation, and community projects across the commonwealth of Virginia.

Our project originated in March 2017 at the Virginia Forum, held at Norfolk State University, which for the first time featured two separate panels on Virginia LGBTIQ history. From there, we gathered more members and held our first statewide meeting at the Virginia Department of Historic Resources in Richmond in June. As of October 2017, we represent approximately X# different projects currently in Virginia.
